Qui est le peintre Mik-art ?

Mik-Art, est un peintre contemporain breton de 28 ans ne laissant pas indifférent. Né au Mans en 1981, il à passé toute son enfance et son adolescence dans la charmante petite ville de Quimperlé dans le département du Finistère. Actuellement il habite Vitré, ville au caractère historique et architectural indéniable.

Au collège dèjà, le dessin était sa matière préférée et celle ou il obtenait les meilleures notes. Ensuite est venu le temps du lycée et avec, d'autres priorités plus primaire que l'art. Mik-Art se remit à dessiner à ses 20 ans, il prit l'option Arts Plastiques pour avoir des points en plus pour le Bac, il eu des points en plus mais pas le Bac...

Et depuis, il peint vraiment pour son plaisir, 8 ans de tableaux ratés, déchirés, recommencés et aussi d'intense bonheur en contemplant les peintures achevées avec succés. Peintre autodidacte, Mik-Art à parcouru avec envie l'histoire de l'art pour apprendre et assimiler les techniques des grands maîtres de la peinture, ses modèles sont Pablo Picasso, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Edvard Munch, Pierre Soulages et bien d'autres...

La peinture de Mik-Art est étrange et déroutante parce qu'elle propose aux spectateurs différents styles à voir, des styles qui pourraient appartenir à différents peintres mais qui pourtant sont l'œuvre d'un seul et même artiste. Mik-Art rejette l'idée que le peintre doit avoir un style reconnaissable à première vue, une "signature" pour ne pas dérouter le public. Un peintre doit créer pour lui et pour les autres et non pour des étiquettes.
